The Ultimate Guide on How To Play Craps Online: 5 Must-Know Facts

Learning how to play Craps online is not as hard as you think.

With all the possible bets you can make and even just looking at all the complex numbers on the table can seem intimidating and confusing.

That said, the rules of craps are much simpler than you might think.

Today’s insight post will explain how to play Craps online and give you the rules to help you get started.

Craps can be played in rounds. Up to 20 people can play the role of the shooter and roll the die. Each player must guess the value of each roll of the dice.

The beauty of Craps rules at casinos is that they are the same regardless of where you play them.

Play Craps Online: What’s the objective?

This game’s main objective is to correctly predict the value of the dice that will be rolled by the shooter.

In a land-based casino, the value of the dice is determined by someone actually rolling them, and that’s fun, but online Craps games are determined by an algorithm.

Either way, this means that it is a game based on chance. You must place a wager on whether you think the dice’s value will be 7, 11, 2, 3, or 12.

These numbers are possible to bet on, as we will explain in the blog. Practice is the key to a successful strategy in Craps.

Although some may argue that Craps is not a skill, it’s possible to learn the best bets by playing the game.

Play Craps Online: what are the rules?

It’s good to know that the rules of Craps online are unchanged, easy to learn, and fun to play. You will be able to decide whether the dice will land on a 7 or 11, win or lose, by placing a pass line wager.

The Shooter will take the first roll of the dice, known as a “come-out” roll.

This round ends when the total dice value reaches 7 or 11. Pass line bettors will win the wager if the dice land on 7 or 11, and lose if the dice land on 2, 3, or 12.

If the value of the dice is 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10, then it becomes the “Point” and the next stage in Craps begins. This is when the table enters play.

To allow players to follow the game and make additional bets, the base dealer places a puck on a point number.

The shooter will roll the dice until he or she rolls the point number or a 7. The game is over once this has been achieved.

If they score a point, the shooter will still be the shooter. However, if they roll 7, a new craps player can replace them.

Play Craps Online: Layout

Craps tables have two sides, and the same pattern on each side. The game is the same on both sides, but the table was designed so that you can play at one table.

Two dealers can manage the bets if there is too much activity.

These are the components of the table:

  • Pass Line – Place bets here if you believe the shooter will land either a 7 or 11
  • Don’t Pass Bar – If you believe it will be a 2, 3, or 12, you can place your bets at the Don’t Pass Bar.
  • The Field – If you believe the dice will roll a 3, 4, 9, 10, or 11 on a single roll, then you’ll place a bet here (known as The Field Bet).
  • Big Six and Big Eight – These two bets are the most popular on the craps table. If you believe the shooter will roll either a 6 or 8 before rolling a 7, then place your bets there.
  • Come & Don’t Come – These bets are similar to the Pass Line, but can be placed after the pass line bet. Chips can be added to the Come box if you believe the shooter will roll a 7 or 11. If you are unsure if the shooter will land a 7 or 11, you can add chips to the Don’t Come Box.
  • The Place – You can place a bet that the shooter will land a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 before landing a 7. This bet can be made at any time.
  • The Centre – This section can be used by all players at the Craps table. Here you can also add your proposition bets.

These are just a few of the many topics covered.

While some Craps tables might look different depending on where they are located, you will still be playing with the same set of Craps rules.

Craps Bets

You can place many different bets in Craps. While you don’t have to know all of them, you will increase your chances of winning.

You can learn more about Craps Strategy if you want to improve your skills, but if you are just starting out you will find the basics of the game much more enjoyable.

Pass Line Bet

You can only use this bet on the come-out roll. This is the first roll of the dice in the game. Pass line betting means you bet that the shooter will roll a 7 or 11 combined dice value before rolling a 2, 3, or 12.

Don’t Pass Bet

This is the opposite of a pass-line bet, and you are betting against the shooter.

The shooter must land a 2, 3 in the come out (first roll on his or her turn) for you to win, or roll 7 before they hit the number “Point” they’ve rolled.

The dealer will refund your money if the combined dice roll is 12 on the come-out roll. This is known as a Push.

Do not Come Bet!

This bet can only be placed after a Point number has been rolled (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10). You can place a Come Bet if you believe the shooter will land either a 7 or 11, before the point number.

You can also place a Don’t Come to Bet if the shooter is likely to land a point number prior to a 7 or 11.
